Lutz Dammbeck, based in Hamburg and Dresden has been a free graphic designer and filmmaker since 1974. In the early 70s he discovered the art of experimental film as his medium of expression and has been author and director animation films, documentaries and experimental films until he founded his own production company in 1990.
Since 1979 he is producing intermediary exhibitions, including the "Herakles-Konzept", a permanently proceeding artwork of painting, installations and film that is still ongoing.
He has been guest lecturer at the Fachhochschule für Gestaltung Hamburg and is working as professor at the College of Fine Arts in Dresden until today.
