Ludwig Engel studied cultural sciences, economics and communication sciences in Berlin, Shanghai and Frankfurt/Oder. He is a future researcher and future mobility expert, focussing on transformative processes in the urban context. Since 2005 he works for Daimler's Society and Technology Research Group on a variety of future-related topics. Since 2006 he has been teaching at BTU Cottbus, FH Potsdam and others. In 2009 he joined raumtaktik to work on the project from a better future. He currently writes his Ph.D about manifestations of urban utopias in the 21st century at Europa-Universität Viadrina, Frankfurt/Oder, he lives and works in Berlin.
